I fused three plastic Kroger bags to make this fabric that will soon be stabbed repetitively with needle and thread to become something beautiful (instead of being thrown into a landfill!).

To fuse plastic bags: (1) cut off the handles and the bottom seam; (2) fold three or four times; (3) put in between two pieces of wax paper and iron on medium to hot setting until all bubbles have been removed; (4) REPEAT
